One of the famous traditional food in the Philippines is called “Suman”, a “kakanin” or sticky rice covered in Banana leaves and sometimes dipped in sugar. All kinds of kakanin is very delicious and healthy, most people here knows it and have eaten one kind of it
My countries have many traditional food because of much of tradition we have so my traditional food is called kouakoukou it is Rapp coco and white crounut soupe with fresh fish so delicious try it you will appréciat.
That sounds very much delicious, didnt know that about Philippines. It must be very sweet ,and have a nice aroma. If i ever travel to Philippines will definitely ask for the traditional meal. 😊
In South Africa where im from, our cape townian traditional meal is the same as England’s traditional meal i think. We always have what is called “fish and chips”. Its deep fried fish with a deep batter surrounding it and the chips is bassically french fries with salt and vinegar seasoning. Sometimes we eat it with bread buns.
My country has so many cultures and traditions so to do our meals but all are good,where am from we have gratar cocoa yams wrapped with plantain leaf which is being eaten with palm nut soup or any soup of your choice,we also have impu fish ,that is fresh fish mixed with various native species which is being eaten with plantain either ripe or unripe.We have ekwang cocoa leaf very yummy,fufu corn and ndole,eru, corn chaff in fact there are many as much more as our tradition and culture.
