Magazines and Newspaper are both print media. However, newspaper contains news happening to the world and being released everyday. On the other hand, magazine were like placement for advertisement of the products and some are for entertainment purposes.
The main difference between a newspaper and a magazine is that newspapers are written for a general audience, while magazines are for specific types of audiences. Newspapers are generally published daily, while magazines are usually published weekly or monthly.

A newspaper is oriented to publish news plus some other kind of articles, plus advertising which helps to pay for the cost of publishing, and it periodicity is daily.
A magazine most of the time is not daily submitted, it may be weekly, or monthly, and most of the time a magazine is based on special topics, like fishing, sports, diving, clothing, education, writing, etc.
