Natural resources are those resources that occur within the environment in their original and natural form, undisturbed by humanity. They take years to form without the intervention of humans. The Mother Earth is abundant with natural resources that develop on this planet using its surrounding environment. These natural resources are derived from the environment. While few of them are used for our survival like water, air, rest of them like coal, gas, oil are used for satisfying our daily needs. From forests to mountains to minerals to coastal shores and wetlands, each of these natural resource has its own importance.

Natural resources are resources created by God and not man made. They are the resources we use in our everyday life. Natural resources can be felt or seen by humans eg things like air, water, gold, coal and others but they are not artificial or manmade. They can be found in our environment.

      This thinking was edited.

Natural resources are substances that occur naturally. These resources exist without any actions of humankind. They can be sorted into two main categories, renewable and non-renewable.
The former refer to those resources that can renew themselves in time. These include living resources like forests or non-living ones like wind, water, solar energy.
Non-renewable resources, as the name implies, are those that can no longer be tapped once the available stock at a site is exhausted. Once we use them, there isn’t any more. Mineral resources are non-renewable. Fossil fuels, which are formed from the fossilized remains of prehistoric organisms, are also considered non-renewable even though they can renew themselves given a few million years.
