Autopilot is the act of instructing a system or device to act on it own for a specific period of time, without requiring the functioning and manipulation of human at that particular time. Autopilot is the antonym of Manualpilot, “where manual pilot is actually handle in real-time by a human”, or similar.
Study says planes are sometimes put on autopilot mode, just as some devices as well like the Apple phones, and similar.
Autopilot simply means to put something, or a device to take control on it’s own without the present help of any human. In other words, autopilot is a programmed automatic of a mechanism to move freely in time as programmed by human.
