what is the worst thing that happened to you ?

The worst thing that happened to me,was when me and my Dad got robbed in an unconventionally way.
So normally you can call it a car scam when you try to sell your car and you know there are car scams that plans out how to rob you!
Although in this incident , me and my dad had no clue of such a scam. I normally post things on gumtree to get buyers in this case my dads car. The first caller appointed with my dad that he was interested and got the money cash. Although after 3 days we had confirmation of hes whereabouts since he claimed he werent from our area and needed the extra guidance to find us. He told us to come meet him at a garage ,as we approach him he soon made happy chats with us in this way we befriended this guy on the spot .
Little did we know that he didnt have the cash and said that he quickly needed to call this other guy to pay him hes last investment so he can pay for the car. He claimed it will be a quick one, as sincere as we were ,we took him to the place. Which was quite the distance and confirmed that the guy will bring hes money in a minute. As we waited in a small centre parking lot ,comes a well dressed guy looking like a professional trader or something in a suit , now also entered our car as if it was normal . So he had beef with this guy and he probably thought we were with the buyer of the car. They discuss somethings and our buyer pretends he couldn’t understand this guy with the suite case . The Situation looked funny because me and my dad was in the middle trying to act normal. Not soon enough, this car buyer guy ask hin whether he has his full money, amd this guy said no only half since they still need to verify whether it was real (the package) which contains to my suprised what looked like diamonds. Never the less , this car buyer agreed he dont want a cent since the money isnt complete and ask for hes diamonds back. Just when i think the issue was over . He requested that he had to tell hes bussiness man that this guy didnt take the diamond ls and that he has it ,thus far we were caught in between and lost both our phones amd 17k in the process ..the worst thing that happened to me.
