The artist could be defined as a person who expresses his or her emotions, minds, moods with photos, paintings, murals, or even by writing poems or books. Besides this, I think the artists are singers and actors, singers use their songs to engage with their audience, while actors play their role in the movies.
An artist is a person who has the capacity to sublime his emotions, feelings, affect and internal energy into something physical such as movies, songs/music, books, articles, images, drawings.
This is done for the purpose of creating similar feeling in an audience, or removing a particular feeling.
