More frequent and severe weather:
See lessHigher temperatures are worsening many types of disasters, including storms, heatwaves, floods, and droughts. A warmer climate creates an atmosphere that can collect, retain, and drop more water, changing weather patterns in such a way that wet areas become wetter and dry areas drier. “Extreme weather events are costing more and more,” says Aliya Haq, deputy director of NRDC’s Clean Power Plan initiative. “The number of billion-dollar weather disasters is expected to rise.”
It is therefore evident that global warming is an event that continues to wreak havoc to our environment, wildlife and humanity at large. We need to take the following steps to overcome this menace.
1) Price carbon emissions
By adding a cost to emitting greenhouse gases, you create an incentive to produce less of them and switch to alternatives.
2) Subsidize clean energy, and end subsidies for dirty energy
Renewable energy sources like wind and solar power have already become dramatically more affordable. In the United States, renewables are cost-competitive with fossil fuels in some markets. In Europe, new unsubsidized renewable energy projects are coming online.
3) Close coal plants, and cut off the fossil fuel supply in other ways
Some countries are already taking steps to shut off fossil fuel power. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has assembled a panel to figure out when the country can close all of its coal plants. The United Kingdom, meanwhile, has pledged to end its coal use by 2025.
4) Electrify everything and get more efficient
Another way to use our resources more efficiently is to electrify everything: oil heaters, diesel trucks, gas stoves. That way, as our sources of electricity get cleaner, they pay climate dividends throughout the rest of the electrified economy. And products like electric cars are far more energy-efficient than their gasoline-powered counterparts.
5) Invest in innovation
Perhaps the best tools to fight climate change haven’t been invented yet — a battery that can store gobs of energy for months, a solar panel that’s twice as efficient, a crop that makes biofuels cheaper than petroleum, or something even better, beyond our imaginations.
6) End production and sales of cars, trucks, and buses that run on fossil fuels
7) Require “zero deforestation” supply chains
Halting deforestation can’t be done from afar; it requires working closely with local communities who live in and rely on forests. But governments and corporations can also be pressured to buy commodities only from forest regions certified as “deforestation-free.”
Norway, for instance, now has a “zero deforestation policy,” where it has committed to ensuring “that public procurements do not contribute to deforestation of the rainforest.” Hundreds of companies have made zero-deforestation commitments, too, but we still have a long way to go before they’re airtight and working.
8) Discourage meat and dairy consumption, encourage plant-based diets
On of the main ways in which the livestock sector contributes to global warming is through deforestation caused by expansion of pasture land and arable land used to grow feedcrops. Overall, animal agriculture is responsible for about 9% of human-caused carbon dioxide emissions globally (UN FAO).
Animal agriculture is also a significant source of other greenhouse gases. For example, ruminant animals like cattle produce methane, which is a greenhouse gas about 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide. The livestock sector is responsible for about 37% of human-caused methane emissions, and about 65% of human nitrous oxide emissions (mainly from manure), globally (UN FAO).
Beef is a bigger problem than other sources of meat
Producing beef requires significantly more resources (e.g. land, fertilizer, and water) than other sources of meat. As ruminant animals, cattle also produce methane that other sources (e.g. pigs and chickens) don’t.
Eschel et al. 2014 estimated that producing beef requires 28 times more land, 6 times more fertilizer and 11 times more water than producing pork or chicken. As a result, the study estimated that producing beef releases 4 times more greenhouse gases than a calorie-equivalent amount of pork, and 5 times as much as an equivalent amount of poultry.
Eating vegetables produces lower greenhouse gas emissions yet. For example, potatoes, rice, and broccoli produce approximately 3–5 times lower emissions than an equivalent mass of poultry and pork (Environmental Working Group 2011). The reason is simple – it’s more efficient to grow a crop and eat it than to grow a crop, feed it to an animal as it builds up muscle mass, then eat the animal.
9) Remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere
Every scenario outlined by the IPCC report counts on pulling carbon dioxide out of the air. However, many of the technologies needed to do this are in their infancy.

Your question is somehow complex. To clear things up.
Uber is just a transportation brand founded in the United States. However, there are many other internet based transportation brands that are not uber neither are they affiliated.
For example, here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 we have Grab, not Uber. But they play the same role, just different in brand name.
So, to finally answer your question; No. Uber ride is not worldwide.
For example, in my country Cameroon, Africa where i come from. We neither have uber nor any other internet based transportation brand.
So, if you’re an investor. Africa should be your target market to start such ideal business.

Because 90% of we men believe that it’s so not possible to live with a woman if you don’t have money, and believe me; this ideology is really leading the trend even as i speak.
So as my personal opinion contribution to your situation, i will say you should choose the one whom you love, bearing and accepting the fact that even though he’s broke, you’ll accept to continue being with him.
Don’t take this decision today, and tomorrow you start treating him bad because he’s broke. Because some women are such a funny creature.

Don’t give the broke boy hope, if you know deep in your heart you won’t be there forever.

This is so sad to know some men are still cruel at this extend of the 21 century. Men are just something else you can never predict. That’s why i always and always advise all my female friends to hold tide unto their boyfriends or husbands who’re faithful to them.
Sorry my dear Hules Catherine, i really feel pity for you. For i know how this hurts.
I will advise you leave him, if truly he’s treating you that bad.
That’s just my opinion though.

I personally? My UNILEX as a programmer for now, it’s all good.
Unlike back then; During my transition time; from a copy writer, web editor, web designer, SEO research & analysis, to a programmer. I’ve been working for an average of at least 15 hours a day. With an estimated 80% of most time being 18.40 hours per day, till manifestation happened.
It came to a point in my life, where I had to passed some coupon days without taking shower, just to catch up with TIME, as I had limited time a day, just 24 hours to do 1 million things.
So, my personal life as a programmer, in terms of;
1. Family, wasn’t able to spend time with my nuclear family, talk less of my extended family. I could be like 6 months without talking with either of my extended family members, meanwhile I was just a WhatsApp call away from them. But believe me, I didn’t had a minute to spare.
I automatically distanced myself from my family. Not willingly, but had no option.
2. Friends, it’s the same situation as narrated above, about my family life.
3. Work environment, my work environment automatically became the love of my life, because I was more around that station than anywhere else around my residence.
So, the family life, friends and work environment is really a hard thing to deal with and/or managed as a programmer.
My daily life circle was like;
– Wake up (programmed or any time).
– On my computer (work for at least 15 hours)
– Sleep (my sleep time was between 4 to 5 hours).
With all these isolation, which reminds me as a programmed christian, with the culture and religion which teaches about the UNILEX of Jesus, during his time spent at the wilderness (unless you’re a programmed christian, you won’t be familiar with this statement).
Throughout these entire process of my UNILEX, it really made me “I AM WHO I AM” (this also appears in Jesus book), you may as well be familiar with this saying too as a programmed christian.
However, my entire life experience so far as a programmer, has been mixed with bitterness and sweetness, which off course now I realize and believe it’s the nature and natural process of human life transition.
So right now. My life as a programmer is like WOOO!!!

1- I prefer science fiction movies when I’m in the mood to get some fun entertainment. While I prefer real life based movies when I’m willing to get myself educated from others UNILEX.
However, I prefer real life based movies over science fiction movies, because if you’re still ignorant about a lot of things, science fiction movies will make you believe in lots of dump sh!ts. Which are mostly mere imaginative movies. But real life based movies, will inspire, motivate and encourage you to follow the right path you seek in life.
One important thing most people fail to pay attention on when about watching a movie is it’s genre. Say, you love adventures movie genre, then you get to watch instead an action movie which is what you selected not paying attention on it genre, you’ll definitely have a mix flow, which you won’t definitely like it.
So, I always advise to everyone. When watching a movie; say you’re a love type, focus on romantic movies, be it science fiction or real life based movie. It will help you find more, explore more, do more, and become more of it.
After all, you’re a love type.
So, why not become more of a romantic person?
C O N C L U S I O N:
Movie as a whole, be it science fiction, real life based, or any other screenplay type of media you might watch, bear in mind; they’re all classified as Art & Entertainment.
So, nothing you watch on movie, should weigh you down in any form whatsoever, or make you feel any less than a human. “Except otherwise, you feel the abilities to do so”
