Steps to Block Comments on a Facebook Post
Open Facebook: Log in and navigate to the post you want to restrict.
Click the 3-dot menu (top-right of the post).
Select “Who can comment?” (on desktop) or “Turn off commenting” (on mobile).
Choose an option:
Public: Anyone can comment.
Friends: Only your friends can comment.
Profile Tags: Only tagged people or the post author can comment.
Turn Off Commenting: Disables all comments (mobile only).
Alternative Methods
Hide Individual Comments: Click the 3-dot menu on a comment → “Hide comment.”
Block Users: Go to the user’s profile → “Block” to prevent future interactions.
Note
Turning off comments is reversible.
Restricted comments still appear to the original commenter but are hidden from others.
