To configure Outlook 2010 for Gmail, open Outlook and go to File > Info > Add Account. Enter your name, Gmail address, and password. Outlook should automatically configure the settings. If not, manually set up the account by entering your name, Gmail address, password, incoming mail server (imap.gmail.com), outgoing mail server (smtp.gmail.com), username (your Gmail address), and password. Check “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” under More Settings > Outgoing Server. Use port 993 for incoming and 587 for outgoing with SSL/TLS encryption.
Set up IMAP and change your SMTP settings to read Gmail messages in other mail clients, like Microsoft Outlook.
If you will only use a single Outlook installation and no snart phone, configure the pop settings in gmail and Outlook setup becomes standard
If you wish to use Outlook and another app or device, configure gmail for IMAP access and Outlook IMAP for the same account
At first you should definitely check if your Gmail isn’t already been taken
If you know that is not the case, then try changing the input and output of the Gmail,if that doesn’t work, then I can not help you, sorry
