As a graduate with a D.E.U.G (Diploma of general univerity studies in physics and chemistry), I understand that dissolving a solid in a liquid insolve mixing a solute-that is, the solid-whit a solvent (the liquid) until a completely transparent, uniform, and homogeneous mixture is obtained, which we call the solid separates into tiny, invisible particles that disperse in the liquid.
