To update or upgrade your PHP version to the latest version via cpanel, which will make it compatible with your domain and WordPress, please follow the simple steps below.
1. Login your cPanel, using your correct username and password.
2. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the search bar in your cpanel interface.
3. Search for “PHP”, or simply scroll down your cpanel interface, and you’ll see the “SOFTWARE” section.
4. Select the “MultiPHP Manager”.
5. Once you’re in the “MultiPHP Manager” interface, then follow step 6 below.
6. Select the domain(s) that you wish to change from the table, then apply a PHP version from the list.
*Once you complete the step 6 above, you will receive a system confirmation notification, saying your upgrade has been successful. Then you can decide to log into your WordPress dashboard to confirm if the “Outdated PHP version” message have disappeared.
