Good? Not at all. Necessary? Sometimes. Tou have alcohol to clean the injuries. But I am sure you are talking about the drink alcohol, and my answer is still the same. If you have bad cholesterol you can be recommended by a doctor to take a glass of wine every day. So…there you go.
It is and it isnt at the same time. It really depends on the amount of dosage take on an avarage day.
In some area of the body Alcohol is seen as a medical prescription for some. Given that it sooths stomach and indigestion problems. It also stimulates the brain and endorphins making one feel good amd have a peaceful nights rest (the right amount)
When this substance is abuse it becomes a health related problem. It not only affects and weakens your liver but also becomes a addictive substance to some people.
In the 21st Century, alchohol has lost its total recognition to be far from used as a medication. Rather people has made it a party drink of enjoyment. Some prefer it as a great stress reliever. Overall Alcohol in high consumption is not good at all.
It’s a choice, but medically excess of if is dangerous to health
Consumption of alcohol is not good in the long run. One can can drink it once a while, that too in limited amount.
But consumption of alcohol is bound to have negative effect on your body. If it is more than 50-60 ml daily, it will surely have a negative effect on your liver. And once you damage your liver you will never be healthy again.
Alcohol is also addictive.
Moreover it can also have adverse social consequences where you can come in conflict with the people surrounding you.
In inebriated state, a person becomes more impulsive and thus it can have very adverse consequences, sometimes even leading to criminal acts.
Thus to summarise, consumption of alcohol is not at all good for your body.
But still if one wants to drink it, it should be upto a decent limit, so as to not pass off and in the company of trusted ones and not in public places ( generally).

Although a cocktail, a beer or a glass of wine can be both relaxing and good for the heart, it might also play a role in cancer development, liver and heart damage and depression.

If you don’t normally drink alcohol, there’s no good reason to start now.
In fact, health experts say there isn’t a safe level of drinking alcohol, as alcohol use is the seventh leading risk factor for deaths globally, according to a landmark August 2018 study in The Lancet.
But if you like to kick back with a glass of wine or a cold beer every now and then, there are healthier and safer ways to drink — and the first step is to curb your intake.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends women limit their intake to one alcoholic drink per day and men up to two drinks. What does that look like exactly? Here’s a breakdown from the CDC:
12 ounces of beer (5 percent alcohol content)
8 ounces of malt liquor (7 percent alcohol content)
5 ounces of wine (12 percent alcohol content)
1.5 ounces or a shot of 80-proof distilled spirits or liquor, such as gin, rum, vodka and whiskey
One way to approach alcohol is to think about why you want to drink. Will it help you relax and feel good? Or will it make your anxiety worse? Are you using it to cope with personal issues going on in your life?
“Pace yourself and make sure you are mindful of your motivations for drinking. If you are drinking to avoid feelings or out of boredom, it can be helpful to engage in another healthier activity or call a friend,” Alana Kessler, RD, functional and holistic nutrition and wellness expert, tells LIVESTRONG.com.
How alcohol affects someone depends on the person, so if you do drink, make sure to limit yourself to one drink (for women) or two drinks (for men) per day maximum — and be mindful of how it affects you.
If you feel like you’re drinking too much or are on prescription medications or being treated for any health conditions, it’s important to talk to your doctor about safe alcohol use for you.
Yes, for external use. 70% ethyl is good for hand sanitation especially during this flu season.
If you use it to clean a wound then definitely
If you drink yourself blind then no.
A little booze might relax you and so then help you relax a little so you could say it’s good for the body, but I’m not gonna stay here and cite any of those research that say that one glass of wine a day keeps the cancer away
Yes alcohol is good for the body but not in excess because excess of alcohol intake can poison the cell
Alcohol is not good in human life, but moderate alcohol consumption may provide some health benefit such as reducing your risk of developing and dying of heart disease..
I know that if you consume too much of it your body will tell you that it isn’t a good thing
