Nobody owns the internet. The internet is like air, no one owns it. However, just like the world we live in today, where it is originally owns by no one, but we have territorial owners, as the geographical portion of the world is now owned to be some leader personal property to control and manage.
Offcourse, every conglomerate or group where people exist needs a leader to lead the other 99, and a leader is likely to own it if he/she wants. Though doesn’t mean by nature, he’s the owner.
The internet isn’t owned by any single person or entity. It’s a global network of interconnected systems, managed by various organizations like ICANN (for domain names), ISPs (providing access), and governments (regulating use). Think of it as a shared highway—no one owns the road, but many maintain it.
