Some people associate money with greed. Money is just a vehicle or tool for us to do business with. If we didn’t use money to acquire what we need, we would have to either produce the goods ourselves or trade what we have for something we need. Everyone likes to have some excess money. Some people strive to gather more and can become obsessed with it. At some point it can turn out that money becomes the dominant factor controlling a person. Along this path money can corrupt a greedy persons morals and this is the point where money can become the root of evil.
As long a people live by the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would have them treat you. There is nothing wrong with the accumulation of money.
Because we originally never needed it. The only reason we started to was because we disobeyed God and got kicked out of heaven to live a hard life. We lost lots of benefits as sons of God.

Money gives us power in the society, and power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That’s why a good person have a tendency to become bad or worst, evil, once he acquired a lot of money and possession.
