Particularly if you help vulnerable groups of people (i.e Roma population, refugees, asylum-seekers, etc), sharing the positive impact on their rights and lives could be an effective way to motivate other people in order to contribute to protecting their human rights.

But you could also use some other synonyms such as: ” Firstly, before anything else, in the first place, to begin with, etc..
