      Yes, the world can be considered a community in many contexts: political, humanitarian, economic, ecological etc. While there’s not a centralized governing authority, it operates through cooperation and shared recognition of global issues. In today’s global community we have to navigate complexities that transcend national borders, driven by shared interests, values, and the influence of digital technologies.

      Historically, “community” was synonymous with locality, where people shared physical spaces and experiences. However, the digital age has redefined this, allowing communities to form organically around shared passions, professions, and causes, irrespective of geographical proximity. This shift means that a global community is no longer defined by where people are, but by what unites them.
