Knowledge is the accumulation of facts and information. Wisdom is the synthesis of knowledge and experiences into insights that deepen one’s understanding of relationships and the meaning of life. In other words, knowledge is a tool, and wisdom is the craft in which the tool is used.

I will say wisdom is better that knowledge, “why, perhaps?” Because, I believe wisdom is the accumulation of knowledge, (meaning… you need so many knowledge to attend the seat of wisdom.
Wisdom is the tool, that instructs and manipulate the use of knowledge. Wisdom, is far better that knowledge, intact, I will equally say knowledge is the byproduct of wisdom.

In very simple words Knowlege is what know from Idea.
In very simple words Wisdom is what you gain from Knowlege and Idea.
For example:
Think before you Act – Wisdom.
Sun is a Planet and a Star – Knowledge.
Knowledge is direct. Knowledge is an awareness of facts. You could know something without proper understanding of what it means or what it could be used for. You could get knowledge from interacting with information through reading.
When you are able to interact deeply with a fact, it kinda goes a little beyond knowledge and becomes “Understanding” because you begin to appreciate the fact in a different light. Your mind begins to see deeper than what is written plainly.
Wisdom is the deepest and it is the application of knowledge (thoroughly understood knowledge). Wisdom is when you are consistently producing results and answers to puzzles because you have known a fact, understood it and you can make some iterations or combinations to come up with something innovative and new.
Wisdom produces outstanding results and unravels mysteries but it all begins with knowledge.
knowledge is good but wisdom is better because it puts knowledge to action. this means you need the wisdom to act on or put to action the knowledge you have, otherwise knowing something without being able to use it is very frustrating.
Both are really important. Any knowledge without wisdom is a wasted efforts same as wisdom without knowledge. Both are very important. But mind you, knowledge leads to wisdom.
