I have red once that grey hairs are a sign of dying hair cells as you can imagine. I know i have a few on my head and no matter how much they tell ya you actually clever if you have them thats bassically a hugh Myth. As older people age within the hair shaft there’s keratin within each follicle of stand. There are protein responsible for colouration 9f each strand unlike it senors have more less of these proteins within, that causes their strand of hair from its root either to let go and the cell dies or it will loose it colour and remain.
Your Hair follicles contain melanin, this melanin gives your hair it’s color and as you age the cells start to die giving rise to grey hair.
Gray hair is caused by loss of melanocytes (pigment cells) in the hair follicle. This happens as we age and, unfortunately, there is no treatment that can restore these cells and the pigment they produce, melanin,”
Grey hair is course by the lost of melanocyte pigment due to age .
