Ego is more on ones sense of importance towards self, believing they are above others which thenleads to arrogance. While pride is more of emphasizing self importance towards others, refusing to accept being inferior and wants to feel superior.

The Ego is is the part of you that helps you identify with the world, your family, work, profession, persona etc. It is simply a mental accumulation of your experience and observances of your environment. You have seen and experienced many things in your life and these things have caused you to come to many conclusions, decisions and desires. These conclusions are what is collectively known as your Ego.
There is no such this as pride.

Ego is not necessarily related to an individual’s perception as there is a subconscious part of it. It is the central unit of a person’s personality. Pride is related to the feeling resulting from the self-perception of the individual’s ego.

I think pride comes from achievement or accomplishment and ego is more of a natural thing , for example you take pride in your work because you know what you have done deserves a certain amount of appreciation because of its quality , but a person with an who wants superiority no matter what the situation .

Ego is something you feel when you thought that you have achieved things in life which others are struggling to get and then you start underestimating people because of your ignorance.
pride is the feeling when you complete something personal or professional, you have put on your heart, mind and soul to it and that thing gets success or praised by others the feeling you get is pride.
Pride and ego have thin line between it. Pride is pure feeling of satisfaction but ego is starting of arrogance.

Ego is about establishing your importance or superiority -usually in one sense or another comparing yourself to another and wanting to prove yourself to be better, while pride is about maintaining your confidence and a boundary in light of situations where someone is treating you unfairly.
Everybody has a little bit of pride and ego inside him or her inner self and it depends on how we control them, ego brings out total arrogance and disrespect while pride is defending ones dignity.

Ego stands for self respect.a fealing of just I or just alone me.a person frames in mind that he or she is superior to others.
Whereas the pride is a sense of self satisfaction for all his/her outstanding performance/achievements.

Ego is when you believe there is no one over and above you , in sanskrit if i explain it would be :AHM BRAHMASAMI” means i am everything. Ego leads to ignorance as to i am the best and there can never be anyone better , That is Ego .
Pride is feeling confident in your own skin , what you are , a sense of satisfaction and achievement.
Thus when pride kicks in so much that you use it in a comparative sense as to belittle others then it is called ego.

The 1st it’s the object or the subject then the 2nd its the attribute or the adjective. We all have egos. Not all of us are pride people, although I think pride it’s not bad when well managed.
