I guess its accurate to say that you dont have a policy around competencies right? Or an position chart or JDs? Because that situation could and should have been avoided right there. And if you had that document, you would know exactly what to do. But it happened so let’s move forward. I would 1st have a civilised conversation with my boss and Express what I felt about what happened. See this you dont say what you believe he should have done, you said what you know and that is what you feel and that none can take away from you or lie about it.

Secondly and after the feedback of my boss, if he agrees that indeed the situation could have been better managed, you then have another straightforward conversation with your employee where you start by saying that you and your boss both agree that the situation bla bla bla…to completely erase from his mind that your boss is on his side. Also tell him he can always express his opinions to you and not always have to agree and you are always ipned to hear new opinions so that nex time he feel he can showcase to you why the amount and structure of the working hours have nothing to do with the results he is bringing to them team. Make him feel important and capable.

Last but not least, breath and count to 5 before even making an internal judgement about a situation. Save your health cause nothing cares more than that. Work is not our life. It’s just a part of it. Dont stress out too much.

Because no onde taught them the value of a woman and how to treat them. Because their hear are so hard that even the good advices are not strong enough to find a way in. Because we as a society applause such behaviour as a signal of manhood but are not worried about the message sent out towards objectifying the woman. Because we parents, ask that question only when cheated and we dont teach our kids from young age.

It really depends on what are you motivating yourself to but overall its foundation comes from having a clear goal and even a clearer result. Once you can see yourself in the possession of something you dont yet have, and feel realized and overjoyed and connect with that image of the future you, then nothing cant turn you down.
