Here’s how to reset your WordPress password via cPanel:
Log in to cPanel.
Open File Manager and navigate to /wp-admin .
Rename functions.php (in your theme folder) to functions.php.bak .
Create a new functions.php and paste this code:
wp_set_password(‘your_new_password’, 1);
Save, log in to WordPress, then revert the file. Done!
